LIVADIYA PALACE An architectural masterpiece and one of the most visited museums in the Ukraine. Built in 1911 as summer residence of the last Russian emperor Nickolas ΙΙ, Livadiya palace is also known as the spot where the Crimean conference of the heads of allied powers – USSR, USA and Great Britain - took place in February 1945.

VORONTSOVSKIY (ALUPKINSKIY) PALACE-MUSEUM One of the main Yalta`s tourist attractions. Built in 1828-1848 for Mikhail Semyonovich Vorontsov – prominent Russian statesman, governor-general of Novorossijsky territory. Alupkinskiy park contains the richest collection of rear plants from different countries of the world.

ANTON CHEKHOV HOUSE-MUSEUM Thanks to Chekhov's sister M. Chekhova everything has remained as it was while the great playwrighter lived here. At the White Summer House, as natives call Chekhov's house, he wrote his plays Three Sisters, Cherry Orchard, story In the Ravine, several short stories. Many famous literary men were Anton Chekhov's guests here.

GURZUF A cozy settlement of Gurzuf is not far from Yalta in one of the most beautiful valleys of the Crimea. Its bay with clearest water is remarkable for the mountain Ayu-Dag or Bear Mountain, which has long become a symbol of the Crimean Southern Coast.

SEBASTOPOL Sebastopol, a time-honoured city with a unique history, is spreading on the rocky hills like Rome. Founded in 1783, it became the the main base of the Russian Black Sea Navy. Twice the city had to justify its name of "the Hero City" in war conflicts of the world scale – the Crimean War of 1854 –1855 and the World War ΙΙ. Like phoenix it revived again, impressing the world by its courage and valour.

MARBLE CAVE One of the most beautiful caves of the Crimea and the whole world, The Marble Cave, was found in 1987, and its discovery had become a grandiose event in the world science. Total length of its underground galleries reaches 2,050 metres. Unique underground decoration of the cave is now open for tourists. |

NIKITSKY BOTANICAL GARDEN Found in 1812 in a cozy settlement Nikita between Yalta and Gurzuf, The Nikitsky botanical garden is often called a little green planet. It contains more than 30 000 species of plants from all over the world.

KHERSONES Khersones is an ancient antique city, which existed about 2 500 years ago. Marble columns of temples of Khersones keep the memory of the sacrament of Holy Christening, adopted by Prince Volodimir the Great a thousand years ago. MASSANDRA Massandra palace is one of the most interesting landmarks in Yalta. The palace was intended to be a residence of Alexander III, and became a kind of a hunter's house for the family of the last Russian emperor Nicholas II. It experienced the years of oblivion and at last was open as a beautiful museum, displaying its splendor to the guests from all over the world.
